Blossom end rot

Blossom end rot is mainly a physiological disorder and not a disease. Symptom is a small water soaked spot at the blossom end of the fruit. The spot becomes sunken, enlarges turns black and leathery in appearance and texture. Control can be achieved by:

  • Maintaining soil pH at 6.5

  • Liming
