Borers

The larvae of some beetles, and moths are called borers because they bore into buds, shoots, bark or wood of trees and shrubs. They cause damage by boring into the plant, fruit or buds and this can only be seen when the plant starts wilting or the leaves turning yellow. Control of borers can be achieved using:
