Mealy bugsMealy bugs are soft bodied insects that are covered by a white powdery coating of wax. They feed on plants by sucking the sap. Excess sap is then excreted as honey due which in turn causes growth of sooty mould on the leaves and stems. The leaves can also turn yellow and dies in not treated. Control is achieved using:
