Conquistador

Conquistador is a very widely adaptable, easy to grow, medium late hybrid maturing around 110 days from sowing. Plants are large, very vigorous and wrapper leaves cover the heads very well. Heads are uniform, large to extra-large, very firm and field holding ability after maturity withstanding splitting is excellent resulting in its use as an over wintering variety in many areas. Heads have a deep blue green colour and an excellent flavour.

Hercules

Hercules is a very widely adapted mid-season medium early maturing variety, maturing around 80 days from sowing. Plants are vigorous, large framed and have large healthy wrapper leaves. Heads are uniform, large and have the potential to be extra-large provided plants are spaced a little further apart
